Genasevich Memorial Scholarship to 2 seniors who plan to further their formal education. Main Conference The Main Conference begins on Thursday afternoon at 1pm with sessions covering Getting Started, Understanding the PA Homeschool Law and Homeschooling through High School and Beyond. The conference continues on Friday and Saturday with keynote sessions beginning at 8am, followed by impactful sessions all day led by a fantastic collection of speakers. Shopping in the large vendor hall starts after the keynotes on Friday and Saturday morning. The keynote session kicks off at 9:30am and will be followed by great sessions from outstanding speakers all day covering various learning challenges, IEPs, and more. In addition, there will be the opportunity to connect with speakers and other special needs vendors in a small vendor hall. I came away from the conference having been refreshed, encouraged, and spurred on in my homeschooling. I learned a lot from the sessions I went to. I love learning how to better my parenting skills and homeschool skills. Everyone was so helpful and willing to chat about things when I wanted to. I came away feeling encouraged to keep up the homeschool journey. It was great how much scripture was used in promoting homeschooling. We can do this! The community was also great! The speakers were phenomenal and I left encouraged and excited to continue in my homeschool journey. I learned so much! I experienced the whole range of emotions. My love for Jesus was deepened and my passion for bringing the Gospel into our home was intensified. I received some very practical ideas to bring home and learned more about the dual enrollment opportunities that were weighing heavy on my mind. I was extremely blessed by this conference! I always love being among so many homeschoolers. The young moms I brought were very excited about the whole weekend. I was encouraged. I took home tips to use in my home. My teenager was thrilled to be around a large group of homeschooling teens and families. My intention for attending the conference was to hear a special Word from God, get clarity, and direction on my upcoming homeschool year. Mission accomplished! Everything was easy from registering to navigating where to go and at what time. It was my first convention I’ve gone to for homeschooling and it was enjoyable.
